Business Sponsor FAQ

What is a Business Sponsor?

A Sponsor is a business, non-profit organization or individual that supports FCCMF financially on a short or long-term basis. FCCMF Sponsors joins with others to present a positive message to our community on Marriage and Family.

What can I do?

As a nonprofit, educational-based service organization, we need your financial support. One of the primary goals of Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family is to make our life-changing resources accessible to as many couples, families, businesses, faith-based ministries and partnering organizations as possible. This approach requires that we raise funds over and above those raised by seminar and/or workshop/trainings registrations, events and the sale (or to offset donation) of resources made available.

We are a marketplace ministry, and the reality is, in order to counter the social norm of our culture that dilutes the importance of traditional marriage and the family, we must compete with excellence – in curriculum development, presentation, marketing, and every aspect of making the products and services we produce, and the seminars, workshop/trainings we lead, the very best available.

If you are faith-based Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family encourages your prayers in the “Building of Healthy Marriages & Families in the Four Corners”.

How are funds used?

The Board of Directors at Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family stands strong on the principle that the ministry exists for the sole purpose of saving and strengthening marriages and supporting families.

Contributed funds fall into two categories: restricted and unrestricted. Restricted funds are used primarily to provide scholarships for couples who can’t afford the full registration costs of attending one of our seminars or workshop/trainings. Restricted funds are also defined as funds earmarked for a specific purpose or function of the ministry. Unrestricted funds are used primarily to establish Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family as a Comprehensive Marriage & Family Ministry. This includes, but is not limited to, using unrestricted funds to supplement the development of new curriculum, improve existing material, reach new audiences, raise awareness, market a positive message campaign and accomplish the purposes of “Building of Healthy Marriages & Families in the Four Corners”. Unrestricted funds are also used to serve the day to day operations.

How are funds and donors lists treated internally?

Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization. As such, all donations are tax-deductable to the full extent of Internal Revenue Codes, including, but not limited to, cash gifts, gifts in-kinds, properties, stocks, etc. Receipts are sent upon request, at regular intervals, or as directed by the IRS for tax your filing purposes.

We never rent or sell any of our lists to other organizations.
