Executive Director, Ron Price ronp@fccmf.org
Ron has been a mediator since 1987 and a marriage coach/educator since 2001. He is certified in various marriage related programs such as Prepare-Enrich, PREP, The Marriage Breakthrough, How To Avoid Marrying a Jerk, and The Flag Page. He has been with the San Juan Community Marriage Initiative and the Four Corners Coalition for Marriage & Family since their inceptions. Through private practice he offers relationship skills training to individual couples or groups. Ron also provides dispute resolution which helps parties resolve their differences while maintaining a working relationship with each other. Ron and his wife Maridell have been married for 30 years and while they have no children they do have one dog and too many cats to mention.
President of the Board, Carl Brenner, Pastor Christ Church
Carl has prepared couples for marriage for more than 25 years and has been involved in numerous marriage enrichment events. He is the founding member of the San Juan Marriage Initiative and currently serves on the Board for the Four Corners Coalition for Marriage and Family. Carl is particularly interested in bringing human wellness and support for marriages to the oil and gas industry.
Board Members, Ryan & Krista Johnson
Ryan and Krista moved to New Mexico in 2009 from the Midwest. Ryan is a family physician and Krista is a speech-language pathologist specializing in pediatrics. They have two children and have been married since 1999. They are active in their church including teaching Sunday school, praise and worship ministry, and marriage ministry. Ryan and Krista are certified Dynamic Marriage facilitators as well as a trained “Wise Couple” for the Prepare Enrich program. Ryan and Krista have a special heart for strengthening marriages throughout the Four Corners Area.
Board Members, Gloria & Jay Wendeborn, Area Coordinators for Marriage For Life and Parenting For Life
Jay & Gloria have been married with 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Jay has worked in the gas & oil industry for years and Gloria is a full time domestic engineer which includes home schooling their youngest son. They are active in sports; jay has played and coached baseball for several years. They have taught Sunday school and jr church at church. Have been discipling married couples for over 10 yrs using the Married For Life material from 2=1 ministries. They have enjoyed encouraging couples understand the covenant of marriage is for a life time and to raise and enjoy their children as a 1 flesh team in holy matrimony. Been on the board of San Juan marriage and families helping to strengthen marriages in our Four Corners area for several years.
Board Members, Darrel & Christy Clark
Darrel, a Farmington native, strongly believes in the importance of a healthy marriage because of his own experience. He and his wife, Christie, have been married 41 years and have five daughters and seven grandchildren. It is his background as a supervisor in the oil and gas industry that drove home the importance of having happily married employees to both employee health and the overall organization. Darrel is active in church and has held positions on the Advisory Council for Cortez Christian Church and Sunrise Christian Church and Four Corners Christian Service Camp where he was the president of the board.
Board Members, Jason & Rebecca Oberholser
Jason & Rebekah have been married since 2005. They have three girls, Christina, Abigail, and Jessica. As a family they enjoy camping, hiking, watching movies, and caring for their backyard animals together. Jason serves as the Coalition’s webmaster. They joined the coalition because they understand the importance of healthy marriages & families in society. Their desire is to see stronger family units developed that would in turn positively affect the social, educational, spiritual, business, and economic aspects of the entire Four Corners Region.
